DEADLINE DATE CHANGE FOR SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION PETITION FILING

 

Senate Bill 3338, signed into law on December 3, 2012, by Governor Quinn as Public Act 97-1134, changes the last day to file school board nominating petitions to Wednesday, December 26th.  Senate Bill 3338 changes the deadline only for this year, from the 106th day before the election (Monday, December 24th) to the 104th day before the election (Wednesday, December 26th). The Beecher School District 200U office, 538 Miller St., Beecher will be closed on Monday, December 24, 2012 but opened from 8 am – 5 pm on December 26, 2012 to accept nominating petitions for the April 9, 2013 School Board Election.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the district office, 708-946-2266, ext. 14.
