BHS Commencement Ceremony - 5/28

Beecher High School's annual Commencement Exercises will be held this year for the Class of 2017 on Sunday, May 28 at 2:00 PM in the Main Gym.  The doors open at 1:30 PM and seating is first come, first serve.  Areas will be designated for handicapped guests.  Please join us in celebrating the academic achievements of the Class of 2017!

There will be no school on Friday, May 26. This was a planned emergency/snow day. Additionally, there will be no school on Monday, May 29, in honor of Memorial Day! Enjoy your weekend!


BHS Senior Awards Night - 5/18

Senior Awards Night for Beecher High School will be held on Thursday, May 18 at 6:30 PM in the Main Gym.  A variety of academic, athletic, community, and service awards will be presented.  All seniors are encouraged to attend or, in the case of absence, have someone be there who can accept an award on their behalf.  We look forward to recognizing the excellence of the Class of 2017!



BHS Drama Club presents "Little Shop of Horrors"

The Beecher High school Drama Club presents “Little Shop of Horrors” on Friday, May 12th at 7PM, Saturday, May 13th at 2PM and 7PM, and Sunday, May 14th at 2PM. Tickets are $5.00 for students, kids, and seniors, and $7.00 for adults. All performances will be at the Beecher Community Hall.



BHS Mathletes at State - 5/6

Nineteen Mathletes competed at the State level this past Saturday. Individually, Brandon Cleary earned 7th place out of 133 students who competed in the Algebra ll written event. Overall, Beecher earned 19th place out of 56 teams and that was with a partial team. Congrats to our Mathletes on a great season.



BHS hosts 8th Grade Orientation - 5/10

On Wednesday, May 10, Beecher High School will host Eighth Grade Orientation for all incoming freshmen and their parents.  A presentation will be held at 6:30 PM in the Bobcat Den.  Topics covered will include transitioning into high school, the counseling program, grading and scheduling, standardized testing, and tips for success.  A member of the graduating senior class will also be present to share suggestions for the Class of 2021.

The popular Netflix series 13 Reasons Why has recently created a buzz among students, social media sites and local news outlets. The letter attached below contains information about the hype surrounding the show, as well has how to talk to your child about the important issue of suicide.
