SOS Signs of Suicide Prevention Program

On October 24th, From 8:00 AM to 2PM, Beecher High School is offering depression awareness and suicide prevention training as part of the SOS Signs of Suicide for current 10th and 12th grade graders during English class. The depression-screening tool being used addresses thoughts and feelings which parents may be unaware their child is having. This tool cannot provide a diagnosis of depression but does give an indication of whether a young person should be referred for evaluation by a mental health professional. Please see attached notification if you DO NOT want your son(s)/daughter(s) participating.
