This Friday, September 13th we are honored to have Mr. Scott Schwartz coming to Beecher to discuss his journey to Hollywood to become the “Ultimate TV Bad Guy.” He will be talking to all our schools about his journey through life.
On Monday night, the School Board passed the budget for this year. After putting $282K in the bank last year; this year’s budget calls for deficit spending of $664K due to larger-than-normal spending on technology, buses, textbooks, and debt repayment. We are anticipating total spending for the 2019-2020 school year to be about $14.7M, and we should end the year with $14.9M in reserves. In other words, we have a year’s worth of spending in our savings account. You can find the entire budget summary HERE. Please call or email (email@example.com) with thoughts or questions about this or other topics.
