BJHS Little Caesars Fundraiser

Remember to sell your Little Caesars pizza kits! Students are encouraged to sell at least 2 kits. Orders and money are due back to first hour teachers no later than April 25th. All monies raised by our school fundraisers provide funding for present and future student rewards and activities. Every student selling 2 pizzas/kits will be entered in the $50 participation raffle. Every student who sells at least 10 pizzas/kits will have the opportunity to participate in the “Cash & Candy Pull”. (Mystery Money Prizes are attached to each candy bar.) Kindness Day Assembly

Our Kindness Day Assembly was a great success! BES had a Kindness Day Assembly where members of our Kindness Club performed skits for the whole school. They did a great job showing students how to be kind to others while at school. Great job Kindness Club!

2019 IESA Solo/Ensemble Contest

On Saturday, April 6th, Beecher Junior High School participated in the 2019 IESA solo/ensemble contest held at Bradley Central Middle School in Bradley, Illinois. 35 students from BJHS participated in a variety of vocal and instrumental music events. 8 Division II ribbons were awarded, and 37 Division I medals were awarded to our music students. Chloe Zurek received the BEST OF DAY Award for her flute solo! Way to go, Chloe! All students represented Beecher with great musicality, pride, and professionalism. Great job, everyone!! I have recently hosted a series of committee meetings to obtain input from the learning community, eliciting feedback on areas that we could better serve our students, staff, parents, and community. The first group to meet was Student Opportunities and Supports, looking at ways that we can make our students more successful. Bobcat Pride Dodgeball Tournament

Can you dodge, duck, dip and dive??? Bobcat Pride is sponsoring a dodgeball tournament on Thursday, April 11th. Gather 7-10 of your friends and grab a sign-up form from the office. Don’t have a team and want to play? There will be a sign-up sheet in the office for individuals that want to play. You will be assigned to a team.
