Good afternoon, all. When we return from Break on April 12th, the last few weeks of school will see the student day extended to 2p. This goes for both on-campus and remote students.

The most talked-about piece to this extension of the day is lunch. From the revised School Plan

“For those participating in Remote Engagement, Grab and Go lunches will be provided at the Junior High free of charge.

For those participating through In-Person instruction, lunches will be provided on campus, also free of charge. Students eating lunch on campus will do so unmasked, sitting in rows, facing the same direction. (Where High School students are not facing the same direction, plexiglass dividers will separate them.)

There will be assigned seating or seating charts in each building. Social distancing will not be observed.  Masks are to be worn at all times except in the process of eating.”

I know that there may be lingering questions about some of the mechanics, so I will host a Zoom webinar Tuesday night at 7p to answer questions that you may have. The IT department will release the details of the Zoom meeting on Monday.

As always, we appreciate your continued trust and communication.

Be safe. Be well.
